* You agree to host The GenExchange™ website and database for FREE.
* You agree to be our full time webmaster, creating webpages that are capable of searching our database, entry pages to enter new data, etc. * You agree there will be no banner ads or other forms of advertising on any of The GenExchange™ pages.
* You agree that Joanne Gruber Green will have administrator login access to the website and database at all times.
* Project Coordinators will be able to upload templates to be imported into the database. * Project Coordinators will have access to edit the entries within their county (county coordinators) or counties & state (state coordiantors only). National Coordiantor & Assistant will have access to edit all entries. * You agree that you will not use The GenExchange™ name in any way to create income for yourself, your company, or anyone else.
* You pledge: "The GenExchange™ visitors and users privacy will be protected, and that the GenExchange™ will neither sell, nor cause to be sold, any data submitted to the GenExchange™, a GenExchange™ hosted mailing list, or a GenExchange ™ hosted threaded discussion forum. Further the GenExchange™ pledges that no charge will ever be instituted to access the web site, data hosted through our project, any mailing list, or threaded discussion forum, or any other resource hosted by the project.
* Access to the website, data, and any aspect of GenExchange™ must remain FREE to all.
* No memberships are to be sold. It must remain FREE! FREE! FREE! * The database, website and all items pertaining to The GenExchange&trade will be returned to Joanne Gruber Green immediately upon request. No copies will be saved by you or your organization. All passwords, etc will also be turned over.

The data contains in the GenExchange™ database is mostly public record. It currently contains over 1.3 Million records. There are notes included in many of the categories of data, entered by our volunteers from personal knowledge, interview, and notes take during their transcriptions. This information is copywritten by the submitter with the agreement that their information may never be sold or used in any other way than in conjuction with the GenExchange™ project.

*The words "GenExchange™", "Genealogy Exchange & Surname Registry™", and terms including "GenExchange™" are Trademarks owned entirely by Joanne Gruber Green and may not be used in any other manner except in conjunction with the GenExchange™ web site and project, and only by active members of the GenExchange™ Project.

The GenExchange™ is stored in an Postregsql database. The webpages were done using php. We do have copies of our older pages that were done using Cold Fusion (.cfm) I do prefer to use MSSQL and Cold Fusion, but are open to the continual use of PHP and Postresql.

The GenExchange was hosted on our own Linux servers. (2 of them) One to host the database, one to host the webpages email, and project mailing lists.

Joanne Gruber Green is the registrant and administrative contact of GenExchange.com, GenExchange.org, and GenExchange.net. All domains are registered with Network Solutions.

In short, we are looking for someone to Host The GenExchange™ project on their server(s) for FREE as well as be our Webmaster for FREE.
